Off H Pipe - Will it work with stock exhaust

Will I be able to hook up an off road H pipe with stock headers and stock exhaust? Currently have money for H pipe, not yet for exhaust.

Is there any major difference in the sound of the different brands?

Yes, you can. Please note that some do fit better than others.
I cannot say there is a major difference in sound, brand over brand, with respect to an H setup.
The biggest sound differences on the H setup are between cats and no cats (amongst the obvious).

you can get weld on flows for the mean time if you want to really make the car sound loud with the O/R H-pipe you got

I have a jegs o/r H and it fit perfect.

I have a MAC o/r H and it fit pretty well with my factory stuff. I have weld-in dynomax mufflers
