I went with the VRS Offroad x-pipe to go along with my Magnaflow CB. I think it sounds pretty good.

I've only had Xs on all my Stangs, and always figured they're better simply for flow reasons. My next one might be a ProChamber, they sound so nice!

My personal opinion:

Difference between the two (X Vs H) is fairly negligible IMHO, just go with what your ears prefer (soundwise - the exotic "X" or the classic "H"). Since you already have straight through mufflers (Magnaflows), many folks would probably just stick with the X-pipe in order to keep that "exotic" sound. Your call though.

I have always liked the classic H-pipe sound, but the X-pipes sound good too. It is entirely up to your ears. I don't know differences if any for HP.

Go to Mustang Exhaust register and listen to the different exhaust setups there. That might help you out.
