Heyy quick question guys! I want my mustang GT to be louder.. so I was going to order an off road h with my jba axle backs for now but I have the stock air box on my car right now.. is it a bad idea too get the off road h before an aftermarket CAI??
Adding an off road mid pipe is going to be much louder over a catted exhaust regardless of running the stock air box or with an aftermarket CAI.. If your inquiring as to whether or not an off road mid pipe requires a re-tune of your car's PCM ? The answer is no, it does not.. However you will be required to have your rear 02 sensors turned off or purchase a pair of Mil Eliminators..
I run an off-road H pipe and aftermarket mufflers. No problems. My check engine light stays on, I check it now and then using the Torque app. A tuner can turn off the rear O2 sensors.
