What do you guys think about something like this? I am looking to be insanely loud and as thinking about running my x without mufflers for a while and see how I like it.

you might as well just take off your x pipe and mufflers all together and just run straight headers if you want that kinda loud

probably will sound awfull too

I wouldn't plan to run it that way long, but if you really want to piss off the world with your exhaust look into welding in some of those whistlers.

Wouldn't that kind of piss off the car's computer? I'd just get one chamber mufflers then. They're really loud.

you could unhook the headers from the motor, or get a custom fabbed 8 into 1 exhaust that looks like a semi truck's, those are really loud

he wants insane loudness, not bogged down catted mufflness

try dropping your mid pipe and running without anything but headers, and see if you like that, then try gettin your mid pipe, and if you can stand the sound then just keep it a straight through exhaust setup

i have a friend with this set-up .. bogged down.. ... the magna hi flow cats are practically not even there. They flow so good you even get the smell of the unburned gases as with the o/r pipes. Trust me this will do the trick.

im just messin with you, but if he wants to have insanely loud, pull me over the second i get out of the driveway, ear-ringing goodness, you might as well do it the cheapest way

plus as i see it, there is a sound difference, if you just went offroad pipes, no mufflers, you'd save money and just incase you had to throw on cats and mufflers, you wouldnt be wasting more money

yea.. you do have a good point.. will save quite a bit of $$$ .. only reason he did it is b/c he wanted something loud and we have emissions every yr in GA and he didn't want all the hassle.
