Official 2006 NFL Thread

Some of it has to do with the offensive line protecting the QB. If he's getting rushed, he's going to make more stupid mistakes. For several weeks, the offensive line on the Bengals was letting everyone thru....more sacks...more picks. Does that mean Carson was playing crappy....maybe, but he was playing crappy for a reason.

So who's everyones most hated commentator for the NFL? Im not talking about the in game broadcasters but the Pre Game show guys. Id have to throw my vote out to Ron Jarworaski (SP) AKA Jaws. I think hes arrorgant prick, he had the nerve to compare JP Losman to Tom Brady... Please

Hey its just fate, or maybe its destiny , well either way its all History now :D

Titans have pulled through for me in the past 2 weeks on my football picks. I just had a feeling they could beat the colts being that they only lost to them by 1 point early this yr at the colts and that was w/ out Vince Young.

Game over, Vrable INT second one of the game but pays the price for it as he takes a knee to the back of the head and pretty much gets knocked out. Hopefully he's ok.

Well Lions had the chance to take it but once again ripped defeat out of the jaws of victory. It was ugly as sin but they did what needed to be done to win.

i was so glad when i saw that indy lose i also read the scores wrong the first time and thought that the patriots had lost i was all up for a redline bashing but then i saw the the pats had pulled it off hehe well in other news green bay wasnt worth a **** once again.

Then how come they can stomp teams like KC one week and get blown out the following week?

IF I knew the answer to that, I would be coaching in the NFL. I think alot of it has to do if the line shows up to play, they have success everywhere. Like today, Ben and the D won this game by themselves. The line was getting NO push at all. Parker had no holes. The protection was a little better than last week. ANYTHING was better than last week. And Ben lost his two best recievers. Yet, still had an ok day passing the ball. Granted, they played Tampa Bay but we see that any team can loose to another any day. Colts got beat by the Titans today. So I am not going to say that Ben has had a good year, but with what the guy has had to deal with this year (the crash, appendix, no line, terrible protection, key injuries) he is handling it well.
