I doubt this question would come up on a search, but what size and/or diameter tires do the Cup drivers drive on? Just wondering.

nice boring cookie cutter race last night... unless you are a 48 fan

Nice to see the 48 Team back in championship form. Hope he puts the brakes on KyBu's success. I'd rather see the 48 and 99 going head to head every weekend and the 18 2 laps down

I hate how NASCAR is going to all the same tracks. Like kraw said they can be so boring.

Ill take the old small tracks, Talladega, or a road course anyday. The 1.5 - 2 mile ovals are so boring race after race. I was at a Michigan race a several years ago when Dale Jarrett led the entire race and if it wasnt for Nascar throwing cautions to bunch them up he would have lapped the entire field. I was a DJ fan at that time so I was happy, but still not much excitement.

he's had a pretty good half season, but he's losing steam.... kind of like most races. He charges to the front, leads a ton of laps, then Eury Jr ****s his car up.

He needs a better crew chief. Hendrick shouldn't have let Grubb go to Stewie next season, he should have gone to Jr

Yes he is, for someone who has always had the best of the best cars, equipment, crew, money, etc. He is massively over-rated. All he has to do is win a cup championship and it will all go away. He is the highest paid driver and that is on a team with two multiple title winners. Now Hendrick is not dumb for paying him that money since the hillbillies will buy his junk and he and Hendrick get rich. But facts are he isnt in the top 10 drivers imo, he is 3rd on his own team as far as talent and maybe even 4th.

Yeah... those cup cars practically drive themselves! You could put a child in the drivers seat and if the team spent enough money they's be in the top 5 in points.

Checked the current position of 88 at Richmond lately? He's been in the lead or battling for the lead since the start. Must be all that money Hendrick put into the car...

I never said he didnt have any talent, I just said he was an over-rated driver. By all the coverage and fandom he gets you would think he is the Jordan of NASCAR when he is more like the John Stockton of NASCAR. Good skills but not one of the elite.

If he was Dale Smith Jr he would just be another descent to good driver.
