Thanks! Honestly... It sucks. I live in FL and it gets like 4000 degrees in the summer(seriously, I didn't put my sunshade up one day and when I grabbed my shifter it damn near burnt me!). I really don't like my Tri-Ax all around though, it just shifts like crap. I will be swapping it out for a MGW pretty soon and probably get the composite racing knob they have(made to stay cool). From what I hear they are the most amazing shifter out for my car.

Thanks for the good info I've heared that the MGW is the **** too. That' why I asked you about the shifter because I'm buying one soon

I don't think that's a model, I think it might be the owner. Either way, she's MM+FF BOTM material.

That hood. ...is the stock scoop supposed to be on there? Because I can see gaps, and it really kills it ( I mean the scoop being on the hood, not the gaps). I think a more traditional cowl hood would be alot better than that man. I'm actually awaiting the arrival of my own steeda GT splitter and I already have the wing installed. I plan on some nice silver FR500s, side exhaust, a Steeda cowl hood, and a V6 rear bumper. I'm just going for more of a functional SCCA look than Nopi...

Wait, that's a "black widow" hood. the scoop isn't supposed to be there. There's a kid near me with the full BW kit, and I just cringe every time I see his poor car... Honestly dude, if you can lose the factory scoop without causing damage, I would. The car would look far more streamlined. The scoop just doesn't go with the lines of the hood at all...

Here's one of my Bullitt. Just bolted up the 18" DDs last week. Plan for a drop before too long. I'll be doing a little photoshoot soon hopefully. This pic was from a cruise-in we had last weekend.

Thats pretty funny that its a "black widow" hood... Especially since it has big letters on the underside that spell KAENEN who definitely does not make the widow. Here how about a pic...

and the top side without the scoop on it look the same as a mustang v6 hood except with a 2" rise.

And heres the Black Widow and all its uglyness...

And as far as the little bit of gap... I still have to tweak the alignment of it all... so that will be gone soon. Your right though and it drives me nuts currently with the gaps on the sides but it has slightly less of a curve to it than the factory hood had.

i think that cowl with the scoop is kinda dumb....why would u stick a fake scoop ontop of a cowl? id take the scoop off and it might match the car abit more!

Well, sorry for the mis-identification, I guess I had my gaudy as hell hoods mixed up. Either way, the lines of the scoop when placed on that hood totally go against everything else the car has going on for lines and flow. Loose the scoop, I think you'll be happier.

One of our club members has that same hood. I was not a fan at first, but it has grown on me a bit. Still nothing I would install, but it's not all that bad.

The hood is made with the same lines as a stock hood. That would be the same as telling everyone that bought a Mustang GT to take off their hood scoop because it doesn't match the lines of the car. And superstang... I wouldnt put black bullitt rims on a mineral grey car or go wingless but its your car... Personally I would never let black rims or a chin spoiler touch my car... it looks cheap IMO. Oh btw superstang, astronaut thinks you should take that fake scoop off your hood because it doesn't match the lines of your car. I like the hood and it stays just the way it is. End of discussion.

Very nice Saleen esp. the color! I would kill myself if I ever owned a crotch rocket. I'd be bloody skid mark on the interstate somewhere.
