The hood is made with the same lines as a stock hood. That would be the same as telling everyone that bought a Mustang GT to take off their hood scoop because it doesn't match the lines of the car. And superstang... I wouldnt put black bullitt rims on a mineral grey car or go wingless but its your car... Personally I would never let black rims or a chin spoiler touch my car... it looks cheap IMO. Oh btw superstang, astronaut thinks you should take that fake scoop off your hood because it doesn't match the lines of your car. I like the hood and it stays just the way it is. End of discussion.

You wouldn't put a chin spoiler on your car because it looks cheap but you would put an ugly ass front bumper and hood on it?

What the hell! This is supposed to be a thread with pictures of our cars and positive comments about them. But you little kids are turning it into a b1tch session because you don't like something. Stop being pussies! If you don't like it go cry to your mommy, don't post negative stuff here. If I want to post a picture of my mustang while I was having sex with the front grill I will and you all will like it!

Well I finally joined the digital SLR crowd and picked up a used Olympus EVOLT E-300 for a great price...here's a couple shots I took this morning, just playing around, trying to battle the lack of sun while messing around with a few different settings. Then I ran the shots thru Photoshot for just an automatic 'quick-fix'. I used the local mall's parking lot, but couldn't find an area without cars and without palm trees and power lines in the background, so knock off a couple points for crappy picture composition...!

An idiot without a license in a borrowed car tried to navigate through 4 lanes of traffic, two of the lanes had bumper to bumper stopped traffic, but the lane I was in (which turns into turn lane) was free and clear...so, I was just driving along, minding my own business, when, ugh, oh sh1t, BAM!

Dunno, I'm letting Progressive fight this. It'll be interesting how they get their money. They've already settled with me for the property damage (3 days after the wreck - Progressive= ) Still pending at the PIP...
ON A GOOD NOTE - I have a new baby...
2004 Mach1, Torch Red, 19K miles, absolutely mint. And it already has a couple goodies like - catted X, Magnaflow catback, Subframe Connectors, FRPP Alum driveshaft, UPR uppers and lowers, Eibach springs, Energy Suspension bushings sprinkled here and there, MM CC Plates, Redline hood struts - I'm sure there are a couple other things I've not found yet... And I'm moving a couple billet interior items over, along with my Pro 5.0 shifter, and I can re-use my Diablo Predator. I also found a cheap set of rims and tires, so I was able to save my Torq Thrusts - not sure if I want to put them on or keep the Magnum rims on...
My insurance co, Progressive, had the car towed from the dealership to my home at their cost so I could strip the parts - it just left my possession this afternoon, on its way to that big junkyard in the sky. My hats off to Progressive - they've been responsive and quick. We've already settled on the physical damage, still working on the PIP.
I'll be selling a few parts here soon - probably out on EBay. I'll let you all know when they are out there...

Congrats on the mach. I say stick with the Mach wheels and get DDs for the rear. Love that setup on the Machs. HERE IS A LINK to a post on the M1R that has tons of different wheel setups on Machs.

Honestly, slap the side stripes back on, put those rims from your other car on there ASAP, add a rear windshield louver, and you're set man. Nice car. I wish I had known more when I went car shopping last year and looked for a Mach. I'm bent over the GT so bad I couldn't get out of it for a Mach without losing like 5k.

Sorry bout your GT, but congrats on the new TR Mach...Its a beauty. If it was me, I would put the side stripes back on & definitely put the torque thrusts on there too...The factory Mach wheels are OK, but they are way too skinny. The DD rears would look awesome, but good luck on finding them any time soon, as they are on backorder till who knows when???

Wow, great thread - thanks!

And thanks to all for the kind words...for now (always subject to change) I'm leaving stripes off and will be putting the Amer Racing Torq Thrust IIs on soon. I am currently giving them the polish of a lifetime, both front and back - then I'll get em re-balanced and mount em (myself).
