first off to those people who think i dont work or some stuff like that . believe me, i work

i play d1 soccer, broke my face. yes broke my face in a soccer game, had surgery and got titanium into my face. so school and soccer take up weekends and time.

as for working, i have been reffing soccer games since i was 12 making cash for my first car which was an 86 Notch. When i turned 14 i started working at autobody shops in sayreville nj, Walter's Auto Body. Now, i have been working at Custom Auto Body and Detailing, and often pull 9 Am to 9PM days, so please dont say i dont work. Recently i had to train home from the city becasue my boss severely cut his hand and i had to work on a 94 mack lowboy truck and a jaguar xk. so please when people say i dont work or infer that, it angers me. but wasnt starting a flame war.

as for everyone, especially you older mustang-ers, how did you guys build cars when you were young back in the day, when cash is scarce and time is precious?

You Might work, but agian as said before we don't come on to this forum or any other forum crying about not having parts, or begging for parts. Actually you are lucky you did post this on this forum because if you were to do this over on corral you would probly be dogged on twice ass bad as we are.

i been work longer days than alot of people, and i am not ragging and stuff. i just get really angered when people say i dont work then start talking like o where is mr. 2 post mxer24. first off i was home, working. second off im at school, in engineering school and its not by any means easy. as for posts, i am always on picking up as much knowledge as i can. so be easy.

If you work so much why are you on here asking for parts go spend your money and work on your car. Im 17 i live with my brothers 3 of em and i pay $170 month for car insurance, 550 a month for utilites and rent. yet i work hard enough to find money to mod my car. My dad use to tell me if there is a will there is a way so think about that and you probly won't be asking anymore stupid questions or starting stupid threads like this. but you know live and learn.

Yeah, us older guys had it rough too. When I bought my stang, I was 20 and a sophomore in college. I worked during the days doing all sorts of jobs from on-campus grounds crew/snow plowing to driving a beer truck. I went to class from 6:30 to 10:30 in quad form and it worked out great. I even managed to run Cross country. My biggest trick was working at a club for ladies night. Now, I aint got the best moves in the world, and I'm hung like a field mouse, but the ladies went crazy. I highly recommend doing that in your spare time.

good luck trying to build a car and do the college thing at the same time Im in my 4th year and just in the last yr have had enough money to throw a car together.Have had 3 jobs at one time not counting my 1st year of college playing D2 basketball. Without the help of some family friends cutting me deals on used/leftover parts i would be stuck in the 13s Overall though its going to be better om tje ;pmg rim tp get the college done and over with and build the car later! I hate college by the way

I started i High School with an AOD, 2.73s and Dynomax Super Turbos as the only mod!

I did Valet parking for $10-15 an hour, Landscaping for $15, and worked at a gokart track (from 16 till this year) for $7-11 an hour. A lot of that time I had two of the jobs, but during the winter only really did the Valet work. College is tough living there and trying to work, not to mention keeping a good GPA for scholarships...

I actually just got a job as a draftsman for an Architectural firm. 2 days a week 8-5 right now, and when I graduate in May, fulltime with all the benefits! No idea on pay, Ive been there 3 days counting today!

I payed my own way through college and my own place to live along with modding the stang, and im now a architectural draftsman and its good money. i love it.

guys alright. im sorry for even trying something like this. this thread was to be compeltely facetious but apparantly the one down fall of internet communication was at peak here, misunderstanding based on tones.

sorry guys, i apologize for starting this thread, shoulda known that i was only to be bashed and told to be outworked by kids. not in a my moods and mind to start a war or anytihng and this starting to sound a little bit like the VWvortex forum. my fault guys.

as for the thing about working the clubs on ladies night,
i go to college in NYC, and i tried promoting, managing the doors, and even organizing club events, but its harder than it looks and no matter how hard you try people have something else to do. thanks for the advice though man.

do you even have a car to put the parts on? if so, what year/model?

i'm in college too, and i learned that the fastest way of getting parts for your car is to apply for credit cards and pay them off after college. not that i think its a great idea, but i've bought plenty of goodies for the mustangs with money i dont have yet. you could try selling your stuff, you probably have an ipod or xbox right?
