So right now i have the flowmaster super 44 cat back system on my 98 gt and in an hour or so im going to be installing my offroad h-pipe i got from jegs. I heard that a tune is a must have after installing the offroad h-pipe. Is this true? And how can i get it tuned if so?

first off

way to be smart and get a h pipe for less than 170....it kills me when people pay 300 bucks for the same pipe with a different name on it. But yeah get mil's, get the splice in kind they are easy to work with and won't go bad like the plug ins tend to do. I got my mil's on ebay they were 14 bucks to my door, and lastly no you do not need a tune.

Yeah i figured there couldnt be too much of a difference between the jegs and another one so i went with the jegs. I got it installed and it sounds great. And i just ordered some mil eliminators so hopefully i should be good to go. Thanks for the help.

But i thought you would get a check engine light with the offroad pipe and so far i havent got it yet.

it can take a week or two before you get a check engine light....but the mil's I got have kept the check engine off since i installed them about 6 weeks ago.
