I just bought a mac o/r h-pipe and cannot find a garage that will do it because it gets rid of the cats, i was wondering if this was something i could attempt on my own without much trouble? Thank you

yes its easy to do ive done it about 10 times now. You need to get a 1/2" ratchet with a long extension for the passenger side bolts then i get a adapter that goes from 1/2" to 3/8's then to a short extension and a swivel and then the socket for the nut. Be prepared to use some PB blaster and a breaker bar cause they are on there kinda tight.

When you put it back on tighten the passenger bolts as tight as you can because that is where the exhaust is gonna leak if there is one. Also remember to put the metal gasket back in too.

yea you can attempt it yourself. you probably would want someone there to give you a hand especially since you'll be lying on your back doing the work. as they said let the bolts cool down properly so you don't strip one because then you will have to take it to a shop to get the sucker off. GL
