Sounds like it's time to move back into your old room at Mom & Dad's house (j/k)

Were you actually driving "recklessly" in the first place?

Just when you thought California was full of Communist Nazi's. Well, they'd probably arrest you for street racing if you chirped a gear there.
I did a masssive smokey burnout and some sideways driving on a public street in Texas. Cops saw the whole thing. All I got was a ticket for "excessive display of acceleration." It was cheaper than a speeding ticket. I was thinking of moving to VA for a job I have in the works.....but now......don't get caught ridin' dirty there.

Let me get this straight. You are now going to hire ANOTHER attorney to sue this one? Boy, that is throwing good money after bad. I would pay the ticket and take that attorney to small claims court.

If all else fails, just pick the biggest guy and be his "wife"!

I would pay the ticket if I could. Its not like that. Reckless driving in Virginia is a misdemeanor and not a traffic offense, its criminal. I wish I could just simply pay the ticket but I had to appear. They put people in jail for a year for reckless here. Thats why I got a lawyer, which didnt work.

I got reckless in VA for going 83 in a 65... a speeding ticket. i didn't get a lawyer but i took that driver class (since i was like 19), then went to my court date and they reduced my ticket so i just paid like $100.
