This morning I saw a spectacle I never expected to see:

A classic Mustang with spinners.

This was a very clean baby blue 65-66 convertible, looked all original except for the stock-sized spinners. (spinnaz, yo. werd. knowhutmsayin?)

I don't know if they were actually "real," because I didn't think they were made that small (about 14"); maybe they were those ultra cool Pep Boyz spinning hubcaps for the low-rent thuggz who either can't afford to buy real 22" spinners or haven't gotten around to stealing them yet. They didn't look like hubcaps, though.

I was laughing so hard I almost spilled my coffee, but then I started to feel a little queasy.

Geez, I know what you mean. My son and I were cruising yesterday when we came upon a yellow 65 coupe with 20 inchers or so. It looked like a reject from "Pimp My Ride".
