oil change

Wow. :stupid:
It would almost be easier to pull the dizzy.

I would be tapping a VC, etc to make this happen easier.

You damn near have to on a lowered car. The front plug isnt hard to get to, but that back one is a pain!

why would you say that? if you can get the jack under there then there is no reason you cant get it to the same height as a non lowered car. put the jack on the k member and you will have more than enough room to get to the back plug.

the way the tb comes off the manifold it runs right where my oil filler was we had to plug it with a pcv and then he said to fill it in the back, not hard to get to i just wanted to make sure this was ok thanks for the info btw if i tap the vc then what would i do just put a rubber grommet in the hole? and if so would the passenger side vc be ok?

Why not try a non EFI vc w/o the tall filler neck? Then you would able to use a regular oil cap

or you could install an oil filler on the other valve cover. That would work. Trick flow sells a nice one.

Doing it through the PCV wouldn't be that bad. Just get a funnel with a tube on it. No problem.

My MAC CAI comes slighter over the oil filler hole because of the angle of the TB. However, I am still able to get the oil cap on. But I just unhook the clamp and hose at the TB, change the oil, then reinstall.

Are you at least able to get the oil cap on. If so when you change the oil just do as I said above. Not that difficult. Just One Man's Opinion. Peace
