When removing the baffle inside the valve cover for roller rocker clearance, do you need to cap off both sides of that line, or is it ok to leave it hooked up?

I ask because I was replacing gaskets over the weekend (stock lower intake gaskets and EGR spacer gasket) and noticed some oil on the inside of both the TB and EGR spacer. Now I know that a new motor will have some blow-by as the rings seat, so I should see some in there.

Just wondering..

P.S. Car seems to be running A LOT better now that I've got the correct lower intake gaskets (if you all remember my thread asking "Why is it so slow?"). :nice:

im not real sure what your configuration is exactly......that said, i would leave it hooked up and run a filter or a filter and catchcan if you have concerns of not wanting the usual oil in the TB, intake, etc.

my two cents. good luck.
