What is in filters that is required on our cars I thinks its called a something valve to aid in cold starts or somethin like that. Does Motrcraft have them and what about Amsoil filters? Thanks
It's called a drainback valve, to prevent the dirty oil in the filter from draining back into the engine. Most (if not all) filters have them. Motorcraft and Amsoil both have them.
