hey gonzo heard your clip, lots of lifter noise thought you had a solid cam. went to your website and noticed on the mustang-low you did have hydrolic lifters, and you were missing the soft plug in the rear of the galley next to the end gaskets seating area. tis wll cause a loss of oil to the lifters. please tell me you didn't forget to put it in.

Don't plug the valley holes--they are needed so the oil can drain back to the oil pan.

Look at the first picture, it already has the galley plug installed. It is right next to the cork gasket.

Yeah, I heard that too, but silicone is just as likely to squeeze out, isn't it? I gunked my cork gaskets with some setting sealant.

It's been fine for the 4 minutes and 17 seconds it has been run...

silicone will squeeze out as the manifold is torqued, but it doesnt get loose, cork gets oil soaked and then the pressure slowely pushes it the rest of the way.Adhesive might be better, but i still RTV it
