oil leak/block

whats up guys? hey i recently did heads on my whip(ride) its an 87 5.0 5spd
and on the passenger side on the block by the trans bell housing theres a hole about the size of a penciles eraser, anyways theres oil leaking from it, but just a little like bearly just carious as to what could cause it? and if your confused as in what im talking about just say so and ill try to take a pic of it.

also oil pan gasket, does the motor have to be pulled out or lifted up in order to replace it?

not quite sure im trying to picture it in my head but i cant, A picture would definately help big time. If you could sn atch a pic that would be great. The oil pan gasket can be done in the car but its not easy. you have to undo the motor mounts and jack it up and finagle it a bit but it can be done. To be honest with you pulling the motor or dropping the k member would be a hell of alot easier to me

The motor can be lifted to change the oil pan gasket, but it is much easier when the motor is out.

are you talking about the hole on the flat of the block right behind lower intake on pass. side
