Guys,

1. If I use a pan w/o this sensor, how to I keep the light from being on?

2. If I have a replacement sensor, can I install it in a pan that does not already have the hole for it? I don't know if I can tap the pan or what.

OK, It looks like the light will not come on if the connector is not hooked up to the sensor.

I would like to reinstall the sensor so I just need to figure out what type of connection it is. Searching found one post saying it's 1/8 NPT but I don't think thats right as other posts talk about plugging the hole with a bolt and washer. My bet is it is a straight metric thread. If that is the case, then ALl I need to do is weld on a metric bolt over a hole in the pan.
