I dont have one in my pan and the light does not come on at all. My wire is just tie wrap back up against the harness and not even plugged into the sensor.
OK, It looks like the light will not come on if the connector is not hooked up to the sensor.
I would like to reinstall the sensor so I just need to figure out what type of connection it is. Searching found one post saying it's 1/8 NPT but I don't think thats right as other posts talk about plugging the hole with a bolt and washer. My bet is it is a straight metric thread. If that is the case, then ALl I need to do is weld on a metric bolt over a hole in the pan.
