hey guys iw as wondering if any of you have ever changed out the oil pan gasket in your car? if so how hard is it cuz i need to get it done.

im 75% sure you need to pull the whole motor out- good luck

I didn't pull the whole motor out of mine. I did have to raise it up about 4-5 inches and even then it was a PITA.

Yeah did one in mine. Had to raise the motor some. Boy what a freakin PITA. Have fun dude.

What is stopping him from just dropping the oil pan? Is it the cross brace that sits underneath the oil pan? Doesn't it just unbolt?

i changed mine by pullin the motor.....if ya have access to a engine hoist, i would say its easier to pull it, while you got it out can take a look at the bearings and oil pump....least that is what i did.
