Oil Pressure Dropping Help !!!!

Car is 5sp, when i stop at light or stop sign an press clutch in oil pressure drops to zero an car cuts off , when i press throttle oil pressure is normal , when driving everything runs fine just when i got to press in clutch an stop thats here the problem is , does anybody no Wat is causing this thanks for any replies

Well, my first thought is:

Is the car dying from the loss of oil pressure, OR is the oil pressure falling off because the car is dying.
I think the latter is more likely.

Will the car run and idle fine in neutral?
It's just when you push the clutch?
How about when you push the clutch to change gears?

Duh!
First thing I should have said is check the oil!
If the oil level is very low, when you slow, and the oil moves forward, the pickup could be uncovered.
When the oil flow is stopped, the lifters collapse, and the engine can't run.
