Oil pressure flux

What causes Oil pressure to flux? Oil Level is good (right at the full mark). It reads high but still in the normal range but when ever I put torgue on the engine it'll go into the high range for a few seconds andthen come back down into the "high normal" range. Gauge doesn't really move with car in out of gear and me revving motor only when I go from a stop or if I put my foot into it. Also the engine temp fluxes from right in the middle of the gauge to "hot" when I romp on it. whats the deal?

Hey,

The stock oil pressure gauge is pretty much a dummy sensor. I'd get a real oil pressure gauge for accurate readings.

as for the "getting hot when I romp on it," there's a few things to check.

1) under the car there is an air dam type thing, that could be your problem, doubt it though

2) check your radiator fins and also ensure your high speed is coming on "cut the A/C to "max" and the high speed should turn on.

3)again, I'd get an aftermarket gauge for actual readings

Also, if you haven't already, I'd change your thermostat out to a 180 degree
