my friend has a 96 or so 4.6 thunderbird i know this is mustang forums but i figured the engine is the same so maybe yall could help tonight it started making a knocking noise around 3-4k rpms sounds almost like ptv contact or something like that to me but i dunno and he let me drive and i noticed that the oil pressure is dropping almost whenever you arent on the gas we checked the oil and it is full and has been recently changed this is the first 4.6 thunderbird i have driven but it seemed really weak to me and it seemed to hang around 3k rpms for some reason for a couple seconds and reved very slow but that may just be the gear im just throwing out everything i know about the car after driving it tonight any help would be appreciated
