Oil Pressure Sending Unit Plug

I would suggest you just get one, they are cheap and just thread right into the block.....it makes it real simplified and easy. I do not remember rreading in the manual any other place though there likely is another way. None easy I know of.

i have the actual sending unit and "rod" that threads into the block, i just dont have the wiring and the plug that goes onto the threaded part of the sending unit

You have to use the sending unit that came with the autometer gauge. The autometer sending unit should have a washer and nut with it that threads onto the end of the sending unit. Just run a wire from your autometer gauge to the sending unit and put a ring terminal on it. Put the ring terminal onto the sending unit's threaded nipple and install the washer and nut.
