I have yet another question for you guys, looked through the search but could not find it. A friend of mine has a 86gt, me and him have the same exact guages. I will be eventually hooking up my oil pressure guage soon, was wondering, do you have to keep the original factory sending unit or can I ditch it and run my oil pressure line to the spot that the unit came from, or do I have to keep it and tee it off. My car is 88 gt. He was telling me that the stock oil pressure sending unit, not only runs to the dash, but also to the computer?

Mr Weaver is right-on. Try different search terms because I know we've feathered this one before.
You can also add your new gauge and keep the stocker functional (you will need a Tee and some 1/4" NPT and 1/8" NPT brass fittings from the Home store).

Good luck.

I tee'd in as HISSON here stated. That way my dash doesn't seem so useless but i have the dependability of a aftermarket piece.
