Can someone describe to me the process of replacing the oil pump? I do not trust mine, and I would like to replace it when I do my h/c/i swap. There does not seem to be too many articles and things on it to help out the mechanically disinclined such as myself. Thanks.

You will need to pull the oil pan, which means pretty much pulling the motor. You may be able to unbolt the motor from the motor mounts and use a jack to lift the motor high enough to get the pan out. It would almost be easier to pull the motor and put it on an engine stand. Replacing the pump is easy (just 2 bolts), but getting to the pump is very time consuming. Come back for any other Q's.
