Hope this isnt a dumb question. I currently put about 6k miles on my car a year. I drive it about 4 times per month. Is it still necessary to do oil changes every 3 months or can I extend that?
I'd do it every 3k or 6 months, whichever is first. Oil will break down quicker from my understanding if it's in an engine that sees minimal use and a lot of sitting time.
