Should I get a factory Ford one or will the local auto parts store ones work?

yeah, 7 bucks at a parts store, you can't go wrong. Ford probably wants $40 for it, heck, they wanted $72 for a temp. sensor yesterday when I went in

where is it leaking from? If its coming from the threads, maybe you could just put some thread sealer on it and reinstall it?

Make sure you get a removal tool. Its like $5 and will be a HUGE help.

Its a special socket.

just use a deep socket. itll come out

I think I used a box wrench. I had stuff kinda ripped apart though at the time (I dont remember what might have otherwise been in the way).

The torque spec on the oil pressure sender-to-cylinder block is 12-16 lb-ft.
