Ok for those of you who know rims and tires

I am gonna be adding some serious power to my car. My goal is 500hp.

Also I am looking at brakes for my car. I am thinking about getting the Brembo 2000 Cobra R brakes. They have 4 piston Calipers and 13'' slotted rotors. The rears are gonna probably be from Baer. They have 1 piston calipers and 12'' slotted rotors.

I want to get rims for slicks/skinnies. I will be using these at the track and the ride to and from the track(All highway.About 15 miles) only.

So here is my question,

Can I get a set of skinnies that clear those brakes? I was looking at Bogart Racing Wheels and I know they can custom make them, But what sizes am I looking for in the front/back?

The best thing to do here is going to be to get all the relavent dimensions of the brake kits from the brake companies, and then call Bogart Racing wheels and give them that info and see what they say.

Hey Paul, Thanks for the contact. I will be giving them a call. But before I get intouch with Steve, what sizes should I be looking at? 15x4 front, 15x9 rears? Or should I be going with a 17'' rims for the fronts?

They can make a set of 15" for you. You will not find a 17" front skinny tire if you got the 17's for the front, there are some vintage race tires in those sizes, but I have no idea where you can fin them and I have no idea what load ratings they have. I have seen bogarts on cobras and they look good. they stick out a little, but you will have that when running skinnies on a car with big brakes. Steve can tell you specifics, but on my car with the PBR brakes he suggested going with the 15X4's up front. At this time I'm not getting the rears as I can't afford them. I'm buying 2 15X4's, 2 17X9's, and 2 17X10.5. The 17's are the road race wheels which I will be running on the street, even though its not recommended as they are not DOT approved.
