He is incorrect. The interior is mostly original but it has seats from a newer mustang ('90-'91).

1982 Mustang GT.2bbl carb.It has shorty headers,off road H pipe,dual exhaust,smog pump eliminator pully,5 speed tranny.It has newer interior out of 87-88 Mustang.Has an 1984 SVO instrument cluster,and tilt steering column.

I was telling him that if the guy was advertising that he had put in an 87-88 interior in, like it said in the ad, he was incorrect, because from the pictures, it's very easy to tell that is pre-87.

The ad said nothing about seats. He said interior. I would look at the word "interior" and assume he's talking about everything, not just the seats. How was I wrong?

but looking at the pictures, it's a 85-86 interior. Just in case you didn't notice.

No offence but you said it was an '85-'86 interior which is incorrect. You were correct in pointing out that the interior (seat portion) was not correct for the year.

Those are '82 door panels on that car. Trust me. You can researce the differences between the years at www.mustanggt.org

ok thanks. i went to look at it. it even has sub frame connectors
