At idle load is 17xxx and loadx is 27xxx. I've researched and found out load should be at or around 20%. Also, the readings states that Loadx is really Load :? . Which Load do I look for to be around 20%? Oh yeah I also read that you can adjust this by changing the size of the motor but not the best way. The correct way is the Sea level load scaling. Which load do I look at to be around 20%.

Thanks

As I understand it, the Load Switch Scalar is what determines if you use Load or LoadX or as some have called it, Load%.

Scalar = 0 use LoadX
Scalar = 1 or 2 use Load

A couple of stock cal file Load Switch examples are:

t4m0 = 2
j4j1 = 0

Got it very simple and straight to the point. I like that. Now Loadx is at 27% at idle. Can I just up the CID in the scalar a little to correct or should I do the Sea Level Load.

Thanks Grady

I've not had any experience with either of your Q's

I currently idle at around 25% load and even that is a little bit high

I don't think that value is off enough to make me wanna fool with all that other stuff. I have looked into the load scaling thing a couple times but just blew it off.

I've already got my fuel & spark tables to my liking
so
I just ain't gonna mess with it

Have you already bumped up your cubic inch size to 306?

Yes I have it at 306. But I will check to make sure I did not change the settings.

Thanks
