I am taking my car on friday to start the s-trim install. Along with that I am putting on a Snow meth injection kit, 3.00" pulley, and full ignition. It'll be tuned with a tweecer on a mustang dyno.

I have the mods in my sig, plus shorty headers, x-pipe w/side exhaust, and the heads are ported.

Its also 8.5:1 compression.

I'm HOPING to see 9-11psi. :SNSign:

Any guesses? Closest one gets a e-high five frome me.

BTW I ran 106mph granny shifting & babying out of the hole (wheelhop), so I'd guess its at about 310/350 at the wheels right now.

Subscribing.

I think it'll be a lot faster than before the S-trim.

I'm gonna guess 550-575rwhp with the meth injection.

I will guess right around 575 at the wheels.

What rpm do you plan to spin it to?

stroker and boost on stock block... . Should make some good power. I would guess around 550-565 if the combo is well matched.

I would be real scared with a stock block with your combo. Good Luck

Sorry should have in my sig that its a B50 Sportsman block (w/girdle), so that should provide at least a little more strength than stock.

Dont forget to add belt slip into that impeller speed equation...its only a ruff idea of what the impeller should run at.
What crank pulley?

I saw 590rw with a 331, H/C/I, S-trim and meth inj with my timing only at 21* still had plenty room to go. I ran a 2.95/7 and was seeing 13-15psi
Then I went to a T-trim and it was alotta fun

Its a 3.00" Renegade pulley with the stock 6.87" crank. I bought the stupid expensive Dayco V-Cog belt that Vortech reccomends for the 2.95" pulley, so HOPEFULLY belt slip isnt an issue.

If I got anything close to that I'd prob dowbn tune it a lil bit

I'll be happy with anything over 500.

3.33/6.87 is stock Vortech, the 3.00 will help but it def wont be any big boost #s, even with a pp

Do you have a good tensioner?

For all I know its stock, never really looked at it to be honest.

I know I need a bigger crank pulley, but I just dont have the funds for a custom 8" right now, and I dont want to go too small with the blower pulley and have slip.

Also were you at stock compression?

Would you suggest trying like a 2.95 or 2.85 off the bat?

I ran a 3.33/8 on my T-trim can you say no slip?

Get a good tensioner, ASP sells nice tensioner pullies and you can geth thicker gauge tensioner brackets. The lil things that hold tension down all the time are handy as well

Good luck, you'll be just like me in a year or so....ready to loose the belt!

I dont miss it at all

I am confused. He is running 310-350rwhp right now and a blower takes him 225HP over that? That's like strapping in another 5.0 in the backseat.

if you figure that 14 pounds of boost doubles the horsepower, an additional 225hp on a 310hp n/a motor would be probably somewhere around 10-12 pounds of boost. i don't think the difference is linear.

i'm thinking that eddy intake might be a limiting factor for you; a systemax intake would probably net you more than a few horses.

my guess: 510 hp
