I remember when I first saw the 99+ mustangs. Man, I thought they were hideous! I couldnt believe what ford had done. They loved the fox body look so much they kept it around for 3 decades! Then they had the beautiful stylings of the 94-98s, yet they only wanted to keep em for 4 years? Why was this better?
Well, it took me a while. I still, like the old look better, but at least I dont find the new ones ugly anymore. Infact, theres been lots of times when I've mistaken the new style for being the old!
So maybe like the other body style, the 05 will grow on us. And then I'll start having the problem I have with 94vs99, I'll think the 05 is another classic stang.
I like it. For me the weakest part of the 94-98 and 99-04 cars is the headlight treament. In this sense I much preferred the late 80s/early 90s Fox cars..
