Can someone help me out, Im looking for some dimensions reguarding a Borg Warner T-10 4-speed transmission. I need to know the distance from the front of the trany to the shifter (in neutral).

My uncle needs to cut a hole in his 64 Falcon for the trany to fit in.

Also, can somone please give me a measurement from the front of a T-5 to the shifter (in neutral).

He is inbetween tranys at the moment. He is V8ing a Staight-6 wicked cherry Falcon and needs help.

Also, if anyone has any info on V8ing a Straight-6 a 64-66 Ford Mustang that would be sick.
He is concerned with the trany fitting in the floor pan tunnel.

Check the sticky at the top of the thread for some v8 swap info. As far as a T5, I put one in my 67 Mustang and the shifter came right through the spot in the floor. I think it comes up in the same spot as a T10.
