OMG!! I have a 12 sec car!!!

I went to the track tonight (WED) and I dipped in the 12's. Here is my best:

R/T...1.305
60'...2.014
330...5.494
1/8...8.364
MPH...85.74
1000...10.833
1/4...12.906
MPH...108.39

I left the line with my nitrous on. I left the line at 2000RPMs. Slippped the clutch and as soon as i hit 3000RPMs I nailed it. I shifted out of first at like 5500RPMs. I shifted the other gears at 5200/5300RPMs. I was in 4th gear around the 1/8 mile mark.

My BFG D/Rs were brand new and were set at 15psi. I did a 7 sec burnout. I best run didn't come untill mt 4th run.

I am so excited.

congradulations on the 12s.
a bit more practice on the DRs and you should hit the mid 12s easy.

I'm sure you'll be there soon. 13.0 on street tires mean there is alot of room for improvement when you add D/Rs. If you ever get that thing running with a good converter.

I have hit 1.9 60's with lowering spring & the swaybar removed, so get that 60' donw and you'll be even deeper in the 12's

bfg D/Rs don't work till they are bald, so get to work on it. You are sure to get some sweet 60's when you get those tires into their prime.

I know I need to get that 60' down. On one trip down that track I left at 2500 RPMs and all I did was spin the first 200'. I mean look at this time;

I got a 13.3 with a 3.3 60' foot. This was on my 3rd run so i knew I could do SO much better.

So is 15psi a good tire pressure with this or should I got higher?
Also I was running a steady 900psi in my nitrous bottle all night.

Nice.... That's about like my too much air run... and my nitrous launch.
