Ive always wanted to own a few guns but with all the money I spend on cars never took the time to look into them. But with everything going on and shooting a lot with a few friends of mine I went ahead and hopped on the wagon.

First purchase to go with my CCW was a Beretta 92FS vertec

I love this thing. Double action, 9mm with night sights. Upgraded the grips and added a laser which ive already removed to replace with a guide rod laser.
Shoots like a dream with very little recoil.

Second purchase was a tactical Mossburg 500 20" barrel and extended 8 round tube.
Which 24 hours later I traded with cash for my newest purchase.

A Smith&Wesson M&P AR-15.

Added a scope, has a foregrip, quad rail and a few other parts. Still need to change a lot as the stock isn't collapsable. But I love it.
Going to pick up another shotgun next weekend and then call it quits for a while.

Off to a good start! :nice:

If you're going to get another shotgun anyway, what did you not like about the 500? I have a Rem. 870 "police" model that I like.
Also have a Saiga-12 that's very nice! :)

Love the 500, it was my 2nd one. But the opportunity was there to get the AR and shotguns aren't going anywhere so I jumped on it. If I can find the same 500 ill take it, otherwise an 870 is my next choice. I'm a simple guy when it comes to pump shotguns and you cant go wrong with either.

Upgraded the front grip, its very bulky but very comfortable. And being that its a compliant model, there is no flash suppresor option so its pretty damn loud. A new upper isn't an option in this market. Still has the dust cover, forward assist and shell deflector though, I guess Illinois just doesn't do adjustable stocks or quieted rifles.

It wont stay on for long once I track down somewhere that even stocks this stuff anymore. I'm sold on that fact that these are the foxbodies of rifles, there's nothing you cant change. And ive had all kinds of stuff mounted on it today as well as on my friends AK.
Enjoying something new for a while, and turns out I'm a pretty crack shot with an AR. Still cant hit a damn thing with the Beretta though :nice:

I feel the need to own a tank, so ill keep surfing craigslist until a Sherman pops up:)

Thought I'd bump this up... :stir:

Recently I've purchased something "old" and something "new." I bought a Rossi M92 lever-gun in .44 Magnum, and just bought a Kriss Vector SDP! :D

The Rossi looks just like every other lever-gun, so I didn't post up a pic. :hide: It's a very nice shooter with .44 Special, but does have a rather stout kick with .44 Magnums! I've already had it all apart on the workbench- polished up a few things that felt rough, and upgraded the ejector spring and magazine-follower.
Haven't shot the Kriss yet... hopefully tomorrow.

It is sold as a regular pistol. Adding a folding stock (SBR) or a vertical front grip (AOW) would require an NFA stamp! o_O

The Magpul angled foregrip, though is OKAY. I've seen a couple that were cut-down just a little, so they have the angle across the corner in front. I may try that myself. There is a chance in the future I might get into the NFA game... a folding stock with a suppressor would be very tempting! :chin
