Ref: Purchased last month (hobbyist/car collector) 1988 GT drop top. Running great, looks outstanding and not ever throwing any codes...but when I lower the top all four warning lights come on? but not with the top going up? I've checked the ground to the convertible motor, all solid. I'm guessing the lights come by making a ground via the low fluid module So I think maybe by sending power to the top ( by creating a ground with the switch?) somehow its completing a ground to the low fluid module? I'm lost LOL I thought it was only the low oil pressure light that came on..till I replaced the other warning lights. Thanks in advance for any thoughts or ideas....maybe just rewire power to the part of the switch that deals with the top going down?

I believe the warning lights on the year on in the lower right hand of the dash. right under the switch for the top. I would check the wiring for the switch to the top and the lights. Sounds like there is a short going on some where.there.
