Hey everyone,
I'm brand new here and new to the idea of Mustangs. I'm a long time VW owner and am seriously considering making the jump to RWD American muscle. I was wondering if there are any local Mustang boards that offer classifieds and tips for newbies such as myself. I'm looking to purchase my first Mustang in the next couple of weeks so any help or leads on a car would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a bunch!

Some advice........... Buy a 87-93 LX coupe, they are alot tighter ride and alot more secure when you got a stereo or stuff always in the back. Fuel injected stangs are very throttle responsive. Definetly get a 5 speed, they are alot more fun to drive. Convertables are great if your in to the topless scene!!! A t-top stang is cool also, but a little noisy on the highway if the seals are worn. There is alot of choices to be made, but it's your car and you'll be driving it, so go with what you want! Good luck!!! Just my 2 cents.

PS: All 87 -93 stangs LX or GT's. have 225 hp. Don't let idiots fool you into the GT COBRA trick. The cobra stickers are just stickers and don't mean the car is any faster or slower. Alot of guys think these stickers add like 200hp to the car.
