I wanted to let people know about our open house coming up on November 20. We are having Air Ride Technologies up to do a tech session on air ride, and to answer tech questions. I thought this would be a valuable chance to increase your knowledge on air ride suspension, and to pick up a free lunch of Dettweiler sausage and snacks, too! If you haven't been to our shop, visit our website to check out a map: Horton Inc.. Also, check out Air Ride Technologies' website, too. They make some really slick air suspensions for Mustangs. I doubt there will be any hot rods there, unless the roads haven't been salted yet.

We're located in Breslau, Ontario. That's right beside Kitchener, an hour west of Toronto.

Please post any questions you have.

Somebody explain to me how this is selling?? Did I post any prices? Anything for sale? nope. It's an open house notification. We're having an open house. I thought you might like to come. That's it.

We're not even selling lunch- it's free!

Its advertising. And there are people on the forum that have paid to advertise, so letting just any company come in and start advertising would kinda not make sense.

I know what your saying though, as thats why i left it up at first. It is more of a group gathering and tech session then a sale add. But rules are rules and see what Sleeper says.

ok, I understand that. But there's another post with someone asking for prices in Hamilton or something like that... people have posted shop's phone numbers, etc. How is that not selling, and mine is?

I'm being totally honest here- I didn't intend to make any waves on this board or anything, I was just trying to let people know that they can get some really good information at our open house. We actually discourange people from buying at the open house because it's so crazy.

Suggestion: instead of outright deleting my thread, please let me know where I could post it to get the hits I'm trying to generate - for people in Eastern Canada, not people looking to buy air ride. People in the classified section are looking to buy something, and may not necessarily be from eastern Canada. Am I making any sense, or is this hopeless?

lol, he's the one who deleted it in the first place!

mraburn said "sure" after I explained it to him.

So far, there hasn't been much interest... other than the mods, and CarrollShelby. Hey, speaking of, I had breakfast with him last year.

ah, I gotcha now... good one. :)

I understand if you take this down- talk it over with mraburn again if you want. There isn't much interest, other than from the mods and people "commenting" that this is a sales thread.

Think what you want, but we're just good-natured people trying to help out and feed 200 people.

the reason that it is different is because you would be profiting from the action, whereas most are trying to help a fellow stanger. it is a very fine line, we have members that are store owners and we try not to stiffle them but allow them to contribute without blatenet proffiteering
