Has anyone here bought a crate engine from Roush? Got any opinions on it? Im thinking about one of the 327 or 342R/SR engines, but the specs online are a little slim. For example under heads all it says is "aluminum" "185cc". The other thing I was thinking about is just getting heads and using them on my existing 306, but again specs are a little thin. Current engine is basically stock short block with hypereutectic flattops, flat tappet cam that specs the same as the E cam, and has cast iron Windsor JRs on it, but they need to go (dont ask). The reason Im only considering Roush stuff right now is that I can get it at a discount.
