Alright, I know it's another poll, but I just wanted to put SLP, Flows, MAC and Spintech to a little opinion test.

I'm a sound fan and am the kinda guy who'll lower his window in 100 degree Cali heat just to listen to a passing muscle car or exotic...so I decided to see what you fellow Stangers thought was the most intimidating / ricer evaporating / girlfriend hating sound out there? This of course is assuming an offroad pipe is being used - hey we're already in the "illegal" (soundwise) category so might as well go all the way :D

Flowmaster 1 Chamber
Spintech Prostreets
MAC Flowpath
SLP Loudmouth

satan pulled up next to me at a light and reved his stang at me :nonono: sounded just like mine. So i asked him what he had and said mustangtuning.com o/r xpipe and 40 series flows. I was all, "hey, i have that too Lucifer!!" and he was all "sweet ass dude! i created this sound in the firey depths of the inner circle of hell with my spawns of satan!" and I was like, " :nice:" and he spun the tires and took off.

MAC! =)

Awesome. :hail2:
I haven't heard all these exhausts. I've heard Magnaflow, Flowmaster and MAC... I'll vote for MAC! It's what I have now. :nice:

****ing awesome story....i broke a grin. grade AA stuff right here

i have 2 chamber flows but am considering 1 chambers. I use an o/r H pipe but I think if I was just going for bleeding ear drum loud sound I would go with LT headers straight to a shorty o/r H with dumped magnaflows. I think that would be pretty loud.

SLP's are by far the most abnoxious, not really mean sounding but, a wtf kinda **** made that racket, kind of sound. The tone is persistant as hell too.

I had Spintech ProStreets on my car for a while. They're quiet at idle but, probably too loud for my liking at higher rpm's. I'd get cops eyeballing me all the time. But sure, they sounded good. Almost exotic.

Flowpaths are chambered I believe and should give you the stereotypical chambered sound. 1 chamber Flowmasters will be a tad abnoxious but, probably more tolerable than an SLP w/ off-road exhaust.

My vote would go to the Spintech's.
