because mine has a hole in it and some **** tard before me jb welded it and its leaking. i need a new one and saw this and thought it was neat. how many ricers do you see with an 8.8? it will never be seen. and its layered acrylic so its just as strong as our stamped steal factory ones. and its decently priced.

I can't even see my pretty aluminum TA girdle, so I doubt that would be a worthwhile purchase, since it adds nothing but a bling factor. One thing to consider, if that sticks out any farther than the stock cover, it may hit the spare tire well, as my girdle has done that already, and it left a nice sized dent.

I would however, get that for my Jeep, since all of my other trucks are sold, and you can actually see the pig when you're behind it.

If I did I would end up having the cars rear jacked up and it would be running in gear with me laying under the car spacing out

But from a practical standpoint I dont like it. Sure, acryllic, yada yada yada. Sure it with stands a higher pressure but striking impacts is another thing. Bounce the rear off a rock and I bet it would crack. Or some mean wheel hop that you dont let off the throttle in time and that REDICULOUSLY hard bouncing flexes the axle or slams it around enough to get a hairline crack.

I mean look at an airplane. It has thicker and more layers in the windows then it does for its skin. Windows are acryllic and the skin is aluminum isnt it? I know on a spaceshettle the windows are acryllic and a bit thicker then its skin (not the lower heat deflector)

IDK, just throwing stuff out there. Youre a smart dude and tour Fox was tastefull and its your car so personalize the hell out of it

Its just rice-ish IMO. But some say the same about rivited wheels and I have them

That is freakin' sweet! I love it...holy crap..

as long as it is as strong as any other covering..and reasonably priced...I would get it in a second!

I have seen it on lifted F250's & I think it looks sick, but on a stang, u will never see it, so I would get a TA girdle, or FRPP diff cover instead since they help with rigidity as well....

FORE has a new one going to be released soon. it is a sweet piece of work! it starts off as a 45lb chunk of aluminum

i get to go down to their shop on my lunch break and check out all their new goodies

X2 function over form in this case as you can't see it unless your on your belly. The Trickflow/TA/FRPP diff covers come with bearing cap support.

From Trick Flows intall guide..... "Thank you for purchasing this cast aluminum differential support cover. With lightly preloaded support posts placed against the center of each bearing cap the cover will greatly reduce the rearward deflection of the carrier bearings during hard launches. The rearward forces are transferred through the support posts to the cover and cover bolts."

That looks nice, but wouldnt it get dirty pretty quickly, and as Dustin said, you prolly wont be able to see it, especially if its lowered.

You dont want a stock diff if your replacing it (they are super thin).. Look at the diff between your stock and the pic of Fore Precisions! Craziness!!!
