opinions please..getting a new car

so ive decided a terminator just isnt in my pricerange yet...it adds up on paper but i know in real life itll be much more difficult to afford...i found one in my price range at 22k but it was sold...the rest within 100 miles of me are between 24 and 30k...


so i was kinda looking at this bada$$ gt

but im concerned about reliability and things of that sort...what do you guyz think? would you buy it if you had the money?

also a plus is i can insure it as a gt so ill save money that way

did have a 02 gt lowered with exhaust but i totalled it and got $12k and im bout to sell the tottalled car for 3-4k and i got some cash in the bank so its rigt in my price range

17 grand seems kind of steep...you could buy a 03 cobra for prolly 21 grand, and it would have much more potential. Just my opinion....

You could get the pice down alot on the built gt there. The owner of APEX bought the car from a guy named Julian a few weeks ago for $10K. All i can see is he changed the rims to the saleens. I know the car did not pass smog when he bought it, so he made it smog legal.

i would say no on the GT...the dude has it puttin out almost 500HP without a forged crank

925BayArea2v, you should PM 2oo3gt about this.

That car looks like a lot of fun, and would be a great buy for a few thousand less. But if reliability is a high priority, then this car probably is not for you. A closer-to-stock GT in very good shape would probably serve you better. Good luck.

I would say with the money you have to spend look into a mach 1. I dont know what they are going for in your area but you would be close around here.
