OK. I am doing a serious tune up on my car and want to clean up the engine and bay some also.
I seek opinions on what color should I paint my intake, as well as that fan shroud up front. Even if I clean the engine bay these parts look rough. So I am considering pulling these items and painting them. White would match obviously but would be tough to keep clean. By the way, I have new Red plug wires to go on it..so there is a little red under the hood to consider along with the white bay.
So, lets hear what ideas everyone has.

What it looks like now.

paint the shroud black and thats all. Painted stock manifolds looks stupid, if your going to take the time to take off the manifold and all that at least grab an explorer manifold out of a junkyard or something. just my opinion.

Just replace it with clean/polished stuff if money permits.

Clean and repaint plastic and clean intake and keep it stock looking. I pulled the plate off the intake and wire wheeled it then masked and painted the letters.
