The red optima will be my replacement battery. I would like to use the billitt battery hold down. Who sells these? Also, are the Optima's a pain to install? Any modifying?
Thanks

Your battery isint relocated in the trunk now? Dont you have the intercooler on your car with your Procharger?

Intercooler is in the lower portion of the front bumper. Current battery is in stock position..no interference next to or around it. I could keep it simple and use a Ford battery, but I like the billitt tray & the red Optima set up.

Ok, I just assumed that you had already put it in the trunk. Check out www.UPRproducts.com they carry a LOT of billte stuff and may have what you want.

UPR doesn't handle the batt holders. I saw them again & again in magazines, but you know the story..can't find it when it's show time.

My cousin had an Optima battery on his cobra and he had to make some custom mounts from bare metal to fix it. BTW he had a weiand customs battery tray from ebay that looked awesome with optimas.

Do these Wieland trays fit in the stock place in the engine compartment? Or are they meant for relocation?
