Since my car sits outside I almost never feel like washing it (just did today after 2 months ) because it always gets dirty over night from anything and everything. Would a car cover be worth investing in or no?

anal about the cleanliness? I havent washed it in two months... I'd just like it to stay cleaner longer thats all. I heard car covers will scratch the paint some... is that true?

I was under the assumption that they will scratch unless the car is totally clean, therefore maybe you couldn't cover it every night......???
But...maybe not.?

even when the car is totally clean, a cover outside (wind) can cause micro-marring.

don't know about scratches but when I bought my car they gave me a car cover at the dealer and I have never put it on. Altough it would be pointless because I live in the middle a dessert and I just get crap blow all over my car all day every day. And letts not forget about the jack a$$es in the trucks woth 48" tires and on mud flaps. That just my opion

i keep mine covered even in the garage it keeps alot of stuff off the paint and it's an outside cover . they make different kinds ones for inside and outside that dry off once the car gets rained on , mine is a custom fitted one so it doesn't move around much so as to scratch the paint .
