So i get PM's and such, asking how i drive my car..
Figured ide post this link from over at MustangWorld..

The same chic thats been featured in both MM&FF and 5.0, also recieved this award for her 05 Mustang at the SEMA show. Apparently, her team ( Tiger Racing) is working with Ford on the design of the New Cobras clutchless 6 speed transmission. Or so ive read. Really kool shi*... Push botton shifting and throttle. Who knows if itl actually go into the Cobra, but im sure they will adapt this to other Ford vehicles, or have it as an option.
I gota get in good with these people, so they can help hook up my mustang with a clutchless 6 speed :D

Also noticed a while back, in her write up in MM&FF, that her Cobra utilized the drive by wire, throttle setup, way before mention of the 05 having this setup.

Mike, I have seen that setup IN PERSON when I was out at the toledo OH engineering office of TTC. I have some pics of it too, but I will have to did them up. They are POOR quality as I didn't know if I was allowed to take them or not so it was a quick point and shoot type deal. Its a paddle shifter setup and it was built using a T56 trans. I am leaving to go out now, but if I get a chance and find the pics I'll put them up here.

It uses hydrolic (sp) accuators and such to work... its tied into the ABS and has its own computer too, at least the pre-production one did. They had 2 stangs there equipped with it and they showed me one on the work bench. It does add a good bit of weight though, which isn't a good thing in the already heavy '05's, let alone the current cobras. It was neat, where the shifter is now there was a series of buttons, one was like sport, touring, SNOW (yep... a snow setting), and I forget the other one. It was slick as hell looking.
