OT: I got a job!!!

ugh... 1000 dollars is like a drop of water in the ocean when it comes to a duke tuition... oh well, it'll be worth it when i get into a good law school, planning on keeping the cobra as a race car and having a porsche as a daily driver.

(the "PASSION OF CHRIST" really changed how I look at things)

You know what movie changed how I look at things. . . .The Tao of Steve

What I hate about college is that in 4 years, I will graduate with only 5 classes that have to do with my major (Civil Engineering: Structural Design) I could have taken all 5 structural design classes the summer after graduating high school. But nooooo, they want me to be more 'well rounded'. Taking 105 units of b.s. classes does not make me 'well rounded', it makes me angry. At least the going rate for structural engineers is decent, not quite at pharmacy level, but close; however, the pay doesn't rise as quickly. Pharmacy is good work, my friend is about halfway through his schooling for it and is interning at Walgreens.

I ended up going to the community college because I lost my scholarship to the University of Kansas because of some stupid mistakes my senior year of high school. I couldn't be happier. It's cheaper and all my teachers so far have been great. It just sucks feeling lost since I am unsure of what I want to do when I get out.
