I am in the process of removing and replacing a lot of sheet metal on my 66 coupe. I cut out the rear drivers quarter panel and need to replace the outer and inner wheel house. Does anyne know how to best do this?

Does anyone have or know of any site that has a step-by-step with pictures?

I do not know of any sites that really have much to say about the procedure. But when I did mine it was really a pretty straight forward project. Basically I cut out the offending wheelhouse as much as I could with my cut off wheel. Then ground down the remaining flanges until the welds broke free, cleaned everything up, and popped the new wheelhouse in, stitched it in.

I will see If I can get some picks up on here...

Thanks. That's just what I started doing. Cutting away as much as possible with my cutter and then grinding and pounding the extra off. I just wondered if there was a secret trick.
